Exterior rail complete in time for Christmas.

Monday, December 24. 2012

Wow – it’s been a while, but it’s been busy! We just finished the installation of the exterior rail in Kitchener…lots of custom scroll work, hand-forged from heavy stock material. It was great fun and a lot of challenge to put this one together, as it wasn’t a conventional staircase.

In the end the customer is thrilled, and so are we!

Busy in September

Thursday, September 27. 2012

It’s been a busy few weeks! We’re getting ready for ArtFest in Vineland on October 6th, 7th and 8th, 10 am to 5 pm each day. Our booth will be on the school side of Victoria avenue, right out front on the corner. We’ve been preparing a lot of unique pieces…hope to have some pictures up on the portfolio page beforehand, but if not then you’ll see them at the show!As well, we’re almost through the planning stages of a custom exterior railing project that is sure to be stunning….making use of heavy hand forged scrolls. It’s going to take a few weeks, but we’ll try to post some progress pictures as we go.

Anyway, hope to see you at the show!

Whimiscal Kid’s Curtain Rod

Friday, July 27. 2012

We’ve updated the portfolio page with a couple of recent projects…take a peak. There is another mixed media project – this one utilizing beautiful natural shells in place of finials and scrolls for a child’s curtain rod. We always like exploring unique solutions to work with our customers tastes and ideas. We photographed this before the final touch was put on – our client is having fish silk screened on the drapes to complete the effect of an undersea motif…hopefully we’ll get back to snapshot the completed work!
